apparently a genuine 3.0CSL laterly modified by Alpina, needs a bit of work to resurect, but COULD be a bargain for those with the financies to put into it. And with LeMans history..........any takers??

The car can be viewed, independent advise can be sought, but once a bid is placed it is to buy. The reserve is very low at £30,000, the car is genuine and so is the reason for the sale.
I know the guy who owns the car and he's a proper E3/9 enthusiast, and always seems to have a few interesting BMWs around. I'm off to buy a couple of extra lotto tickets, not to buy his but to finish my CSL money pit!
I hope it goes to a good home and we can keep in touch with the cars progress.
