some advice this is what i would do buy an original one in bad shape, but not too bad make sure body is good and electrics are ok and this is what it will cost you to puy it back to factory condition,all the figures im going to give you are the very max you will pay for each item: interior £4000, complete respray £3000, complete engine overhaul including turbo£7000 and allow an extra £1000 for other bits and pieces. the best bit is this work will be done by alpina themselves in buchloe so if i put that in to euros for you including the purchase of a car say euro 5000 for car total price = your brand new car and complete original for euros 27,000 there you have it thats what i would do that way you have the history from scratch and a full guarantee from alpina themselves.
