Alpina manuals
I saw a B12 for sale, and one of the photos was what appeared to be various Alpina bits such as manuals and other Alpina-badged papers.
Do you all have Alpina manuals (or any other Alpina papers and other bits?) All I have is a leather Alpina wallet which contains standard BMW manuals - for example my manual is for the BMW 540i. No mention of Alpina anywhere.
If I can't have Alpina kickplates, or an Alpina speedo, or Alpina stitching on the seats.... I should at least have an Alpina manual, right??

Don't have a manual either. These are standard BMW 3 serie manuals. All I have is a stamp of Alpina on the maintenance book.
And ... a nice leather wallet for the board documents, a key ring, a mouse pad, and a pin!
I found it rather disappointing that, when you buy a new car, Alpina can not afford for a specific manual. Don't even know the "official" performances of ma car, or the brakes dimension, or the weight!!!

I have a 5 Series manual plus a thin Alpina manual with mine (In the leather pouch).

Yes, I've got the standard 5 series stuff with a supplementary Alpina book which has technical data and tyre pressures etc

They have a thin booklet (leaflet like) explaining the special bits for the B10 BiTurbo. It's not fancy, purely functional.

I also have the standard BMW manual but no Alpina manual and definitely not a leather wallet. Would one of these have been supplied with my car? I guess I can get one from Sytners? I must admit I struggled with the tyre pressures initially so the Alpina manual would have helped here. Can one of the B10 3.3 owners let me know their tyre pressures please as I have the same size wheels/tyres and guess they will be the same.

you'd think a company such as Alpina could afford a little luxury such as a leather manual wallet? My M3 came with one, and is embossed with the M Tech logo, and a sample of the leather interior is also enclosed.
Can you buy them from Alpina as an extra?

Funnily enough that's one thing I do have.
The leather wallet (which holds the manuals) is quite plain, with Alpina coloured stripes across the corner (from memory) and the magnetic clasp in the middle is the Alpina logo, which is embossed in a silvery colour... maybe I'll try and get a photo of it uploaded...

Alpina Jim:
Tyre pressures are 2.7 bar front, 3 bar rear fully laden.
Hope this helps.

I too do not have an Alpina Wallet or manual.
What I do have is a BMW manual for the 3 series. The only Alpina documentation I have is two leaflets detailing the stats of the car and exhasut system. It the goes on to explain how to use the step-tronic transmission mode.

Dr T
Thanks for the tyre pressure info, it confirms the 3.2 & 3.3 are the same. I must admit I forgot to mention that I found the pressure info on a label on the drivers door pillar.
