took a look at my b8 suspension

kees the key worked for my wheel locks . i took a wheel off tonight to check my brakes and suspension and i was very happy to see a very clean suspension and lots of life left on veryyyyyyy expensive b8 pads .

Huh

That is so odd seeing the swaybar mount up to the control arm vs the strut the way the M-versions did it.

I'm pretty sure it won't be a noticeable difference on even aggressive street driving.

Remarkable how clean, rustfree, and original it all looks.

Congrats on purchasing such a clean example!

thanks , my b3 has the same setup . i think the e36 alpina's are based on the 325i , maybe some of the more experianced members can verify that .

You could eat off that!!!

I think the only time it's been driven in the wet is when you picked it up!! :p

tonight i took the other 3 wheels off and i was pleased to see all the brakes are good and so is the suspension and exhaust and no oil leaks . i took a few more pics .

Hey, I think you have a neat part on your car.

I can not be sure, but I would have guessed Alpina to have done extensive tuning and chosen a fixed suspension of their design that was optimized to retune the car for gentleman..... Not for performance tweekers.... Looks like your front sway bar has at least two choices. Looks like one of a very limited run of aftermarket bars some forum guys put together for upgrades....could be wrong, maybe that is factory.....anyone? PDF catalogue wrong angle to see.

im very new to the alpina b8 and i could be wrong but i dont think anything has been modded on this car . anyone on the forum have a pic of their sway bar .
