As the Meeting-Hotel is now fully booked. There's one in close proximity - so you can walk there if you drank to much alcohol ;-)

I was asked about a guided tour through the city of Fulda - on sunday after the Meeting in Kleinheiligkreuz. If you`re interested in a tour, please let me know. They also offer tours in english (even if the website is only in german ...) if there are enough people for that. Otherwise we would book the german tour and I`ll translate ;-)

We would meet in Fulda around 10/11 on Sunday - have a 60/90 Minutes tour and then meet for lunch around 12 in the city. The City-Center is around 15 minutes drive from the Meeting.

If you`re interested - just send me a short info.

A short update ...

we will have a guided tour at the Point-Alpha Memorial. Tour starts 9:30 on Saturday - and we will offer two tours - one in german and one in english language. So if you want to attend - please keep this in mind (and be there on time ...).

Hmmm,,

i was talking to the ferry company today,, Smyril Line - Travel to Iceland and Faroe Islands by Ferry

and they are offering a good price for the car and 2 persons,, from late August ,, the sailing is 3 nights,, from late wednisday to early sathurday when the ferry arrive in northen Denmark (( then it is 700 km from Reykjavik ,, and 950 km from Hirthals to KHK,, quite a trip ))
and the price is +/- 1000 € IS-DK-IS,, and my wife ,, said,, yes i think we shall go,, so i think we will be there,,
landing in DK 01.09 and will leave 15.09 ,, so we will have 2 weeks in EU.. if the plan goes as it should
