B7 Coupe #012

Imported new to USA in Louisana in 1984

Made its way to Morgan Hill,Ca via Dinan Engineering (was acquaintnce of Steve Dinan) in 1985 where it was purchased by second owner until I purchased it from him in 04? He commuted everyday from Santa Cruz Ca to San Jose,CA (40 miles)and would drop it off to Dinan for any & all repairs, down to rotation of tires. Have reciepts from 20,000 miles ALL Dinan. Now has 149K on odo. and located in Paso Robles Ca. Half way between San Fran & LA

Original Alpinweis paint except nose and spoiler respray.
Found original radio.
removed velour cloth & replaced with Alpina retro
Had rear Bilstiens redone
put deko kit on
Had wheels striped & redone
replaced all lighting, used cibie lows

TO do:
Been working on replacing exhaust.
Headliner could use clean or replace, original cloth NLA so probably just clean.
Front glass could use replacement,a bit sandblasted.
Body part of undercarriage cold use better clean and fresh undercoat/paint
Could use a Alpina dead pedal at some point.
Only thing holding this all up is $$$$$$.

MAYBE AN ALPINA USA GET TOGETHER SOME DAY?
