Yes i have heard this also, US spec Alpina are completed at dingofling and don't make the trip to buchloe and this is why US Spec don't get the numbered plaque. Ok I might sound alittle ridiculous here but for me I wouldn't even bother to spend all that $ on an Alpina that doesn't receive any true Alpina work.

Any information on the specification of your B7?
Spec are: SWB with Ceramic Controls, Smartphone Integration, Piano Black trim, Color (Black Sapphire Metallic), Upholstery (Nappa Leather in Saddle Brown and Black), Active Cruise Control and Packages (Rear Only Camera, Driver Assistance, and Rear Entertainment). Lost the camera battle. Performance Center delivery. Picked up X5 at Performance Center in 07 and had loads of fun on track. Plan a return on 9 July with B7.

Update at BMWUSA site. Moved to production but no specific production date.

Tomorrows the day
It’s at the dealer prep center getting the V1 installed and waiting for a sunny day. Saw it yesterday, Really, really nice. Photos in a few days
