V8 Roadster performance...
Alpina says the V8 Roadster will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5,3 seconds and have a top-speed of 260 km/h. Shouldn´t it be capable of a higher top-speed?

Hi Janne
Well I guess depends on what Alpina did with the final drive ratio..... But it is still faster than a stock Z8. Another thought is how comfortable would it be, as I'm sure wind noise would be pretty bad through that top....

I wouldnt complain with a top speed of 260km/hr :HIHI:
But I guess I could picture it having a little bit more top speed

AC Schnitzer also has a V8 Roadster, and the numbers are similar... might be the extra weight, the gearing and the extra drag of an open top car... I don't think they should let a roadster go too fast anyways... seems a bit more dangerous than a closed top car...

The top-speed is limited to 260 km/h. As I said before the V8 Roadster is a little bit more powerful than the B10 V8S, 381 bhp and 520NM. The production is also limited to 333 cars.

I find it interesting that Alpina has started to limit their topspeed.... Is this the first one or...? Sure driving that fast in a cab would be sick, but that should be up to the owner.....
