If you really want to sell it, try listing it on ebay and see what happens.

All-wheel-drive BMW Alpina B7 xDrive slated for New York debut

short answer: YES

long answer:

At the Chicago Auto Show, it was announced that the 2011 BMW Alpina B7 sedan will join BMW's North American product range as the most dynamic 7 Series model, and that both standard- and long-wheelbase models will be offered. Now, at the New York International Auto Show, the news gets bigger: the BMW Alpina B7 will also be offered with BMW's xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive.

BMW Alpina B7 with xDrive will again be offered in standard- and long-wheelbase editions, and will enjoy the low-speed traction advantages that only xDrive can provide. The BMW Alpina B7 represents the second generation of Alpina automobiles based on the BMW 7 Series to be offered in the US. The first BMW Alpina B7 was offered as a limited edition for the 2007 and 2008 model years. Newly interpreted and based on the current BMW 7 Series platform, the B7 will again set the benchmark in terms of performance, refinement, technology, luxury and exclusivity.

Thank you but this does not answer the question of when. My WILD guess is either as a 2012 model (1 model year after the forthcoming B7) or perhaps next January as a kind of middle of model year 2011 model.

I'm going to the New York Auto Show on April 9 and 10. I'm bringing my HD video camera and plan on taking plenty of footage of the Alpina B7 xDrive. Is there any other footage anyone who like me to get? I can't wait!!!

Its not offered yet. No answer of when.. I think you are assuming this means this model year. But nothing has been told to the dealers. So this does not answer the question of when. For example BMW has said the F10 M5 WILL be offered for sale in the USA. But WHEN is the answer the people are looking for. WHEN WHEN. WILL is just something that will happen in the future which could be infinite.

Another example: I will be going to the NYIAS. Whats your next question? When. My answer of "I will be there" is not really a very satisfying answer

This is the first time a stateside journalist gets his hands on the new B7, as far is I remember?
His article is just a short recap of the car with some nice pics. A test drive article will follow soon.

Check out the article: Exclusive Photos: ALPINA B7 at the race track

First Drive: 2011 BMW ALPINA B7

Here it is: First Drive: 2011 BMW ALPINA B7

Quote:
Absolutely, this is one of the finest cars ALPINA has ever made. Based upon the new F01 7 Series sedan, ALPINA GmbH takes details into their own hands, producing a unique, focused and exclusive performance luxury sedan.
Quote:
Heading to the first corner, I feel unsure of the B7’s cornering ability. Will it turn in or push wide with understeer? Worry not – the B7 is scalpel sharp, very neutral at the limit and eager to turn in. Once through the apex, the big four-doored sports car puts power down with a slight wiggle from the tail; reminding you that a cautious right foot is necessary in this powerful sedan. Straightening out from the last corner, speed builds effortlessly, smoothly, quickly! Only the M3 saw faster speeds before braking for the next corner of this track, the B7 has a special way of metamorphosing into a focused race car.
Quote:
A magical moment occurred while being driven in the passenger seat by Andreas Bovensiepen, Proprietor of ALPINA GmbH. Three passengers piled in to enjoy a hot lap with one of racing’s most distinguished drivers, former champion of the 24 hours of Nurburgring and the German Touring Car Championship back in the ’70s. We found ourselves virtually nailed to the side bolsters of our seats through a long right hander on the race track, the scenery flying by in a way few people have seen from a car’s rear seats.
