GaAlpinaowner, thanks for posting the links and no need for alarm!!

of the 4 links posted:
2 are not priced yet. They are auctions in progress for cars without a Buy-It-Now price, and have a status of Reserve-Not-Met, so they will most likely sell for more than the current bid in Ebay
1 is a salvage car (the white one in NY)
1 is a high miles car - 40K in 2 years (the black one in Chicago)

A good condition B7, with known history, will be more $$$ than the Ebay prices on the above 4 cars.

For example, this 2007 with 36K miles just sold for somewhere near $65 (it was only online for a couple of weeks)
http://clients.automanager.com/01235...71c9ccab33e54f

Of course, the B7 will depreciate like any other high performance luxury car from Porsche, Maserati, Mercedes AMG, Audi, etc. Having owned a car from almost every single luxury marque, I would certainly say that the B7's depreciation certainly not as bad as some cars. Maybe a bit better since it is so rare. But who cares? all new cars depreciate for 10+ years!

So why worry??? Depreciation is quickly forgotten once you are in the drivers seat of a B7!!

Best Regards from Boston,

Jon

jon1776 is right on. The white one from NY is a salvage and there is actually a youtube video ( I cant find it now, where a guy takes the salvaged B7 for a spin) The front end on that one has been replaced. The other two low mileage ones will doubtfully sell at those prices. Carmax in SC has a <40K Black B7 fully optioned for 60K. I made offers on many of these cars prior to purchasing my Alpina Blue 07 but none were accepted. I was offering about 65K. Depreciation was my friend in purchasing my dream car. Close to 50% off sticker price in less than two years. It will drop precipitously if the '10 B7 comes to the US, I am sure.
