Although your opinion holds no weight, it is duly noted.

I was telling you how much I love your car--you missed the sarcasm. The give away is the last part where I say "sell it to me immediately" Anyway--gorgeous E23.

Ah, I missed the "me" in "sell it to me immediately" lol. Well thanks! I see you are in Denver so If I ever do decide to sell it you aren't to far. I doubt there is another in the US this clean

I would say that a B9 / B10 E23 had (in original condition) at the beginning 14" rims instead of 16". Nevertheless I also prefer the 17" with 8.5 front and 9.5 back.

Just take a look at the pictures I have posted. The first ones shows a B9 E23 and the last one is a (bit modified) B10 E23 with 17"
Most interesting thing is the front spoiler... Quiet rare.

Kind regards,
Ralf

Ralf

the frontspoiler on this E23 looks like ((to me )) a modified E32///E34 frontspoiler

No that looks like the real deal.

I remember the E23 front spoiler was very similar to the E28 front spoiler.

The E32 one has no vents and is flatter without a point in the middle (had a B11) and the E34 is the same its flatter.

Nice photo's.

cheers for the suggestions and apologies for the delay in responding, yes I have one, and yes I can give as much information that you need, I'll pm you later, so drop me an email and we'll go through with whatever I can. But the rear spoiler to the e23 B10 is not Alpina specific, it would be a BMW item as supplied and fitted, so you're good to retain yours.

The B9/B10 had 16" alpina rims, only the earlier B8 had the original 14" rims fitted. The e23 never had 17"'s fited as std though.

The pic of the front spoiler is a genuine item and very rare on an e23 as most were sold without them, I may be able to find one to make a mould of but I'll need to do some searching.

But a small point to note is, the first pic (Top Left) is in fact a B8 e23, even rarer than a B9 or B10.
