Thank you for the welcome Gustav!

No, sorry, I didn't have time to join this
trip, but try to be part next year.

I spoke with some of the tour members,
they all are still exited.

I'm actually not a collector like Rainer Witt, which you probably know.
I bought the green B12 as a replacement for my old 750i.
Just couldn't resist when I saw the car exhibited at Heidegger / Lichtenstein.
The blue one ... , came like a baby to a virgin .
I had no plans to buy a second B12 or ALPINA at all, but after
checking the car for a ALPINA-Forum member, my wife decided to
have this car and who can resist such a wish.

Later I wanted to sell the green one and asked ALPINA to put him on their Website.
But after a short discussion with one of the Ladies from Buchloe, I decided to keep both
and I'm very happy

EXACTLY

At that time, I didn't know, how few of the B12 6.0L LWB have been buit.
First, my beloved wife wanted me to sell the green one, after we had the blue,
but knowing now, how exclusive the green one is, she decided, not to sell
this "Police Car" and I was happy.
That's the history of getting close to 10% of a production line

Hi Roland,

Welcome to the board.

I am a massive E38 Fan and have one now. I love the Alpina B12.

I bought my E38 about 3 years ago to stop putting miles on my M6, its not a B12 but a 740i sport, with Alpina suspension, wheels, front lip. I have had a custom remap done by a company in London that specialise on the V8 with an induction kit and I fitted an M3 SMG stearing wheel to the car and wired it all up to work myself. Shes a swb car with all the toys, sat nav, tv, etc etc. And shes a lot quicker than a 750il, as many have discovered!!!

But although she looks like a B12 (NO I dont have it badged as one thank you), she sports a discrete SMG badge on the bootlid and V8 badges on the rear quartes and thats it, she is not as quick!!!!

Bought the M6, then this, and the M6 is history now!!!!! Spend most of my time in Dubai now so dont get to drive her unless im in the UK.

Roland post some pics of your cars please, and welcome again.
