Suspension springs for B7 turbo

Hi guys,

My B7 turbo needs new suspension springs (E24 phase 1). They are all broken . It was detected through the replacement of the absorbers .
Problem: Alpina Buchloe doesn't have any parts left.
Is there anyone who knows which springs could fit with my absorbers (they are Alpina genuine and brand new on the rear - actually waiting for the springs to be installed).

Thanks a lot.

Call the Eibach guys (perhaps Thomas can PM you the name from the person who helped to dev. the B8 sway bar) either they have something that fits for your B7 or they can make them....Eibach is originally used from Alpina.

Some update: according to Alpina Buchloe, there is no such thing as Eibach springs for the early E24 B7 turbos. Alpina used the red references from the BMW catalog, i.e. the sport springs.

FYI, here are these:

front : ref 31331124004, 52,08 € piece, excl VAT
rear : ref 33531124007, 71,30 € piece, excl VAT .

These parts exist at BMW Germany, and have been ordered. It seems the problem is solved

PS both H1R and Eibach responded by Email they had no solution for me...

The problem is not solved: the springs are referred to by Alpina have been placed... but it lifts up the car by several centimeters.
Conclusion : Alpina gave wrong references...

If anyone has heard about short springs that fit early 24 (up to 1981) and E12 (same chassis), please let me know.
Another option is to make new ones, from the one which is still intact.

Have you looked at the H&R springs?
I found them to be almost identical ride height to the alpina springs on my B7 Turbo E28?
I have a complete set of almost new Alpina B9 springs, but I don't think this will help you much

Yes, and they have no reference for E24 prior to 07/1981. I was told I could use the references of E12 , which they have (- 40 mm).
I need to have confirmation that E12 references fit my E24 (same chassis) and that 40 mm lower is not too low for the Bistein/Alpina dampers.

No easy ...
