B7 new occasional transmission jolts

Well 36,000 flawless miles in 28 months. Recently I started to feel a transmission jolt at slow speed accelerations, nothing that bad but enough that you feel a little kick.
This is in normal mode which had been smooth as silk, much better than my previous 3 E65/E66 cars. I would however feel the roughness in my B7 when I was in sport mode which is and was expected. But now it is occurring in normal mode.

I have two questions for the board
has anyone else had this problem?
If I go to the dealer will they have issues or confusion obtaining what I presume to be Alpina software flashes or patches for the B7 vs a normal e65 e66?
Thanks

I get this too and my former 7ers all did this. I believe its the transmission. Its smoother than the regular 7 because in normal mode it starts off in 2nd gear- the shift from 1-2 is the least smooth of them all.
