There was a Diamond Schwartz B12 5.7 sold through Sytner a couple of years ago... but it flipped over on the highway in the UK days before it was to be exported. There are pictures of it on the web....one of it in the bmw showroom... and another outside with exhaust fumes emitting from the rear AFAI Recall

So this is not James' black car that he got from Maas BMW in Germany and had a bad crash in the UK with?

same car...i thought he purchased the car from sytner in the uk.... either way... the car had its life terminated in the UK.

Not quite "terminated" as it is being rebuilt back into LHD 850 CSi.

Sytner told me they sold one 5.7 only (in red), but 5 years ago it had disappeared from their radar with high mileage on it.

I guess that is #035 you're referring to. Now restored and apparently 'recognised' by Buchloe.
