BiTurbo user manual

I didnīt get a specific Alpina manual when I purchased my BiTurbo, and wasnīt even sure there was one. Now I have managed to get hold of a manual that was for sale on Ebay. I have scanned the manual and put it in a 13 page PDF file. If you are a BiTurbo owner and are missing the manual, let me know and Iīll send you the PDF file. The manual is in German.

Thor, I have a "Manual" with mine which is a glossy A4 cover predominately white with A4 computer printed pages inside. Is this what you have? If yours sounds different I'd love a copy.

I wrote to Alpina after buying my car and they very kindly sent me the build and spec sheets which are lengthy, detailed and interesting. They even have the suspension toe, camber, castor etc settings!

I think it is all part of the pleasure of Alpina ownership.

kind regards

Re: BiTurbo user manual

Thor,

As Richard has already stated, is your manual an A4 sized booklet with a white cover? If so I have this too. I also have a 'standard' E34 M5 BMW manual (in English) which explains how to use all the other gismos on the car (trip computer, seats etc etc). I am, not sure if Alpina produced a 'standard' manual for the whole car - maybe they just did a supplement for the 'Alpina' items only.

Regards,

Neil

Yes, that is the one that I have also. I guess thatīs the only Alpina specific manual available for the BiTurbo.

I have some UK sales literature which I got with my B9 that the previous owner had collected but am still hunting for Biturbo sales literature.

I am not sure if the Biturbo was officially sold in the UK, so I imagine there is little chance of a UK brochure.

Does anyone have anything? I'd be interested to see a copy.

kind regards

Richard,

I am almost certain that no English sales literature exists. I have a B10 brochure in German which covers both the E34 B10 3.5 and the Bi-Turbo. In fact that 'famous' picture of the red Bi-Turbo and Concord emanates friom there.

As you say the Bi-Turbo was never officially sold in the UK (or should I say 'offered for sale'), but I am of the opinion that a couple were 'officially' sold new for a couple of customers who requested it.

Re your badge - the marvellous Alpina dealership network has continued to fail itself - even though I have paid in full for the badge - they sent the wrong one, but they haven't yet replaced it with the right one - sorry.

Regards,

Neil

Thanks Neil , sorry you are being messed around!

I wondered where that pic came from. I have a similar pic on the garage wall of an M535 under Concorde with the quote "needs a turbo like concorde needs a propellor"

That picture was a UK BMW advert from about '85
