Let's get a list of names together and see if we can't sort out a date to get together and meet up, check out the Alpinas and maybe go for a drive.
I am going to be hosting a 'wrenchfest' at my house later this month (likely the weekend of the 23rd) maybe then would be a good time to gather, especially if you guys want to work on the cars and get anything sorted out before summer hits. I pretty much have all the tools, just missing a hoist. One day...
I would like to build up a mailing list of all the Canadian owners as well, so anyone who is a Canuck Alpina owner please pm me your email address and I will see if I can't organize some events for us this summer - both drives and wrenchfests.
Rob, how about having it the following weekend? That way Trevor can attend seeing he works every 2nd weekend.
Looks like there aren't too many of us alpina owners in Alberta....either that or they're not registered on this forum....
The problem for me is that I have a deck and fence construction company on the side of what I do during the day. The season is starting to ramp up a bit and if the weather is good, end of may is when I usually get started. So I either have to plan it for the weekend of the 23rd or the 30th - I can't afford the time to do both. Does either work for you?
I can't say for sure as it depends on whether they show themselves or not. As far as I know there are 6 biturbos and I know of 3 B10 3.5s. There are some B10 3.5's for sale out in BC I think, so there may well be more but for actual owners, I know of about 10. I know there are two newer B7s (since they were released here 3 years ago) that I have seen here in Calgary (owners are not on the board I don't think). As for the older cars, I would assume there are more, but the poeple who own them have not shown themselves.
