Without doubt a good choice! I've just got a few miles behind the wheels since it was picked up just before winter storage. I found it a bit nervous on the road, which partially comes from wider aftermarket wheels with a just 3mm left on the wear. From what I've heard it will improve quite alot when it gets new tyres on plus a front suspension adjustment due to the aftermarket wheels.
As you might have figured out all by yourself it's quite alot of power for such a small car. With 1480kg 'alles alles' those 343hp sure makes some difference compared to i.e the Z4 3.0i. Let's say it's quite alot of difference. The M-division were aware of this and was kind enough to add on stuff like better brakes, better steering and a rear diff to keep it atleast a bit sensible. At the same time, the DSC even if turned on allows quite alot of rear-end-fun. Turn it off and you've just self-invited yourself to a date with the devil himself...
Before the purchase I read alot of articles and one downside that many magazines had thoughts about was the clutch. Several reviews I read claimed it beeing very heavy, which I really can't understand. I agree on it beeing a bit "short" which initially makes it a bit difficult to dose in low-speed environment but heavy is everything else but what I would call it. There is a difference from the 3.0i which isn't much of a surprise but calling it heavy isn't fair. After what I had read I was surprised with the first drive since I had expected something like a Lamborghini Diablo-clutch causing me developing something like left leg from an Belgian Blue cow. It wasn't even close, I prefer calling it a bit short but still very easy to handle.
When it comes to additional equipment, as usual you should get as much as possible but remember it beeing worth literally nothing on used cars. The navi is nice with the latest firmware and maps, HiFi Pro sounds descent (especially with roof on) and bluetooth-support is handy. I also got the anti-dazzled option for the mirrors which also brings electrically foldable external mirrors which is nice when leaving the car parked. One thing I recommend to skip is the electrically adjusted seats. I knew they weight like Homer Simpson but what I noticed after the purchase was that the manual adjusted seats also can be slided much more far away from the steering wheel which was a releif for me with my 190cm. In the 3.0i there's electrically adjusted seats and those say stop before I'm comfortable behind the wheel.
Personally I also prefer the lenghtwise brushed aluminium panels since they light up the interiour in a way that the carbon structured leather ones doesn't. Could be worth having in mind since the interiour is quite dark if you've got black leather, in combination with a black roof it's almost time for a funeral feast inside if you also choose the carbon structured leather.
One last thing; this kind of cars has dropped alot on the market. I waited out my seller and squeezed 33% of the pricetag before money and car was switched, just as an example. Crisis is the **** for us buyers
Good luck, if you got any further questions...well, you know
