e24 B7 Turbo part ?

Hello everyone,
I recently recieved my rear shocks back from Bilstien for re-valving.(one was leaking)( part # 3352614). My question is are they supposed to have a dust cover for the exposed part of piston rod? The fronts have a black ones similar to blue ones of today's shocks. The old one that was on it ("Endura" hard plastic sleeve)does not fit on the new bump stops Bilstein put on them so I do not know if that was original part or the stops are different or????. Bilstein person says they did not come with one and that seems parculiar.
Thanks

I am showing Alpina part #s:

3131631 for the boot
3131630 for the clamp
3131629 for the retaining ring

and

3131628 for the complete kit for one shock

but I thought that you could use the BMW factory parts. My B9 has all of the original Alpina parts still in place and it appears to use the factory BMW parts.

Did you have any problems having the Alpina/Bilsteins rebuilt?

Shock covers

No problem getting them revalved they had specs for the shocks.

I see we cannot link Real OEM.

I searched the part # you gave in above post and came up with nothing. Are they Alpina Part#s??

Oops

I see they are Alpina Part#'s
How do you get Alpina part #'s for these cars
Do you have a spare of whatever you use

Are the shock covers soft rubber bellows like fronts or hard plastic sleeve.
My rears came with the sleeve but it does not grasp the new bump stop and slides up & down over the whole shock.
Not sure what to do at this point. Just install without covers??
