E65 B7 Supercharger Question

Hello all!
From what I know Alpina uses a modified ASA Turbomex Supercharger for B7.
The ASA Website is here: http://www.a-s-a.de/htm/english/products/turbomex.html

My question is: on B7 they have installed an ASA Turbomex TM-17 or a TM-20 please?

Lord knows - I'll have a look on my B5 when I'm home - whichever it's based on, I'd suspect the Alpina unit is adapted (bear in mind that Alpina owns a chunk of ASA). In fact, the H1's supercharger has gone through some modifications during the production run.

Problem is that there are no ASA markings on the unit itself, only ALPINA.

Doubt anyone outside either the ASA or Alpina factories can tell you for sure, but it would make sense for it to be related to the TM-20, given the specs quoted by ASA itself.

I'd presume the TM-17 is something like Ruf used on the 911.
