Looks great Yannick.. Love the wheels. The car is going to be awesome. What size are the wheels?
Danny,

wheels are 14 inches wheels as proposed by Alpina in the early 70's. In fact centre of the wheels is 13 inches (used on street cars and race cars) and halves are 14 inches. New Michelin XWX tyres (195-70- VR 14) already are waiting when the centres will have been painted black (September).

On my race car, I will use exactly same wheels (centres) but halves will be 15inches (Will also start special thread for the 3.0 CSL Alpina race car).

On a separate note, I have some B6's E21 pictures and according production numbers for you.

Cheerx, Yannick.

Incredible restoration. I'll be subscribing to this thread. I also sent it to three Alpina experts in the US so they can follow it, one of which is Mitch Brookhyser who owns a Series I CSL in Golf Yellow. Mitch might respond to this and chime in since this project will interest him.

Yes, some progress done (I am however a bit behind schedule ) but unfortunately no new pics to share.

Do not be afraid : I will post as soon as I will have significant elements to share with the community
