I've been looking for a second car a while and was thinking about getting company car. The stupid policy wouldn't allow BMWs though, only Audi, Ford, SAAB, Volvo and VW.
Didn't really know what to choose since the better Audis (read S4 and RS4) would hit me hard with tax and really wasn't interesting in any other cars, accept Focus RS perhaps.
Today my CEO suggested that I'd be compensated if I bought the car myself instead. That also meant that I could buy a BMW or even a Porsche.
Off course taking a more expensive car would affect my result and therefore my bonus so a 996 Turbo would cost me to much. I also need a car that can carry four people when I go skiing with my friends and I also wanted a car that would be fun on a track.
Not much to altenatives but two IMO, M5 and M3 and I already have and M5!
Called my dealer and they happened to have a brand new Titanium silver E46 M3 in stock with black nappa leather. That one will be mine on Thursday afternoon!
Not very much extras in it
, only extras are rear side airbags, alarm, sunshade rear, the adjustable side support in front seats, rain sensor and Hifi speakers Harman Kardon but I think I can live with that.
Please tell me that I'n not completely insane!
Cheers,
/Johan
