Essentially all first model year cars are plaqued with their share of problems and/or lemons. BMW or Chevy! I know! I know! how could I compare a BMW to a Chevy - well I'm not, I'm simply trying to make a point. Essentially all the 2006 E60 M5's currently on the roads are real world beta testers as were the 1999 E39 M5's. To refer to E60 M5's as POS's is just wrong. IMO I would wait for the 2007 model year before I would purchase an E60 M5.
