Me too. Comes and goes. There have been some posts about the vanos being the cause of the clacking noise you hear, which apparently doesn't seem to be serious at all. I just feel that a car that costs 100K+ shouldn't clack - ok, the rough diesely startup... can live with that... but the clacky noise is downright embarrasing.

Can anyone shed some more light on this issue?
