I agree with VancouverM:

* the car is designed to drive. I see no problem in driving the car home. I did the same thing with mine last year (was only 560km)

* be prepared to spend money on the car... When I just got mine, I had a few tiny little details that were broken. You get a 1000 € bill in no time really.
