Dmcgibbo-

I am a sophmore in college and in similar boat as you are. I had 3 credit cards (Cap 1, Verizon Visa and a Dell card) and I have since took out a personal loan ($2k over 18 months @ 10.25% to pay off visa and dell), student loan, car loan and cell phone. I was curious on my credit report so I saw www.eloan.com advertised on CNBC (or one of the other financial channels) and decided to check it out. Eloan offers a FREE credit score. I went ahead and did it with eloan, got my score (within about 30 seconds) before I went to the bank for my personal loan, and was happy with what eloan said, so I went to the bank. After speaking to the loan officer, she told me my credit score and it was one point higher than what Eloan told me. In the past I thought about purchasing it as you did, but with an accurate score from Eloan, I am just going to use that in the future. By the way, I called Cap 1 and they lowered my APR from 20% to 13%. I got the 20% 3 months after I turned 18.

Check out Eloan.com and see how it compares to the report you ordered. Hope that helps.
