If I remember correctly, US 2000 models had 4 choices (sport in extended or all leather and luxury in extended or all leather). Extended means "more than a 540i", all means everything. From 2001 onward, the only 2 choices in the US are sport extended leather or luxury full leather. Since 2001 the top of the dash and doors are a simulated leather but complete with the stitching. The caramel interior is black above the wood and caramel below but I have seen it with black floor mats.
