Hi folks!
I have a short question about something that has been
irritating me for a while. It seems like I am having problems
keeping my exhaust tips clean for a longer period of time.
When I owned my BMW 850 CSi, that also had a quad
exhaust, I really used to love how clean and shiny the tips
remained for several days after I washed the car. With the
M5 it seems this just last for one day and then they look
dark and dirty again.
The inside of the exhaust becomes black after just one day
of driving and the outside gets a brownish, darker color. The
result of this on a dark car like mine is basically that the tips
don't stand out as the lovely detail they actually are
Do you guys have any advice on what I could use to get a
better result when washing this part of the car? Also, could
this be something related to the Kelleners exhaust. Anybody
else out there with the Kelleners exhaust that has the same
"problem"?
I know this is just a detail, but I am a sucker for details so
this is simply bothering me
Best regards,
Fedde
