YEP thanks for that sincere evaluation...but you're right it's all up to personal preference.
I would like it too to have more torque but you cannot have everything.
For me the M5 is on of the grestest cars on earth and the best in it's category but I simply can't do anything with a 4 door huge saloon car.
Maybe but the M5 engine into the S2000

But then it would lose some of it's handling capabilities.

Therefor I'll be happy to have this new 5 cylinder 235 NM i the S2000.

BTW.: Nothing equals the sound of a V8
