Great Job!!! I sincerely excited for you! Thanks for the update. Were you able to run through the whole 1/4 mile after perfecting the launch?
Minimal wheelspin is the key. The first time I took my Cobra (Mustang not to be confused with your beast), I ran a 15.2@97mph. The trap speed wasn't too bad but the E.T. sucked. I was over-anxious and dumped the clutch at the start and just spun...and spun...and spun (you get thr drift). Even with practice I could never get below a 14.2 @101. My starts were never very good (probably the street tires) and I pretty much gave up after I blew my transmission.
Anyway (sorry for digressing), I hope you get a chance to run through the whole 1/4 mile with the improved starting technique. Please let me know the results.
Good Luck,
Tom
