Bobafett, I just used the cables supplied with the remote display kit. Mounted the junction box just under the steering column.

Eric, never thought to carry a dummy. I'm at Radio Shack tomorrow. I personally like the BearTracker. I turn the volume down on the scanning...I just rely on the police repeater detection. Has saved me against instant-on radar/laser many times. Problem is when it goes off, you are within 3 mi. of a Trooper, but you don't know which direction. Like using any non-V1 detector I guess!
