While we're speculating, It's likely that they will put the new v8 from the X5 4.6is in the M3 and the 5 series, output is 347hp 354ft lbs of torque.
That comes pretty close to the beast, while maitaining the 5 liter exclusively for the M5 & the Z8.
Only time will tell.
