I agree that a 996tt would smoke an M5. But that wasn't my point. Both cars are very fast, but if you wanted to tour with a couple of passengers, wanted to be stealthy, or just don't like the 996 styling, the M5 is a much better choice.
My Gt2 smokes every car out there. Doesn't mean I'd drive cross country with it.
