Note how low in the rev range the max horsepower is - only 334 @ 6097 - does mean I don't have to redline the car to get the best out of it though!

Also the power @ wheels is only 260 which works out at a 20% transmission loss. If this is correct then your 290 at the wheels would equate to about 360bhp (20% of 360 = 72+290)!
