Run a search here and you'll find tons of posts/descriptions on the M5 Driving Experience. (There is a separate/different M school that is a 'driving school') My guess is that most board members here (car enthusiasts as opposed to regular car owners) would encourage you to go to the DE.

Since you're in Maryland it's practically next door, so all the more reasons to attend. I flew cross-country to attend, and absolutely loved it. If nothing else, you can flog their M5 in manners that you'd never flog your own (at least I wouldn't ). It's an absolutely first class program, try not to miss it.
