Hey guys,

Well, wongster, to answer your question, you'd use a line-level converter to add an amp after the DSP amp using the speaker wires for the subs. It converts the speaker leads to RCA which you can use as line-in for any amplifier.

Or, you can do what I'm going to do and buy an amp with built-in line-level converter. I'm gonna get the Sony XM 2150-GSC amp, which has both RCA and speaker-level inputs. Should be sufficient with 150x2 at 4 ohms.

Now, for the wiring. I too took the Nokia box apart this morning, and traced all the wires. Teutonaddict, your wire colors are different from mine, but I believe the wiring will be the same. Still, because of that, I don't know what you called pin 1. So I'm going to start at the top right of the plug (as if you're looking straight into it, and as the amp plug fits into it) and the 6 pins going down that column are 1-6. Then starting at the top of the left column are 7-12. Leads 1,6, 7, 12 aren't used, so we have only 2-5 and 8-11 to concern ourselves with.

Right column:
2 - Left terminal of right speaker (+)
3 - Left terminal of right speaker (-)
4 - Left terminal of left speaker (+)
5 - Left terminal of left speaker (-)

Left column:
8 - Right terminal of right speaker (+)
9 - Right terminal of right speaker (-)
10 - Right terminal of left speaker (+)
11 - Right terminal of left speaker (-)

So if you'll notice, each speaker uses 2 pins from each column. Or more to the point, the pins of each column fill the terminals of one side of each speaker. Anybody follow that? :-)

Anyway, that's the deal...lemme know if you have questions, and good luck!

Jeff
