Dave,

I think he might be referring to the fact that the ambient air temperature in Bahrain is very hight and thus robs horse power from the engine...

If that's indeed the issue, then ceramic coating on the inside of the intake air plenum and system could help.... But then, if it's 125 drgrees out, it might not.
