What burned me up was the editorial comment that although the Jag couldn't compete with the M5 on the track, it was a better long distance driver.
What a load of crap! Time after time magazines have compared the M5 to all others and have come to the conclusion that for high speed long distances, the M5 bests everone.
I drove cross country in 46 hours, including one night stop. I have never been in a car that is as comfortable to drive hour after hour. And the faster, the better.
Could it be that the text was written by someone that owns a Jag of his own?
