You're right; it wouldn't have been viable. 290 HP kind of compromises the 286 HP that the Euro M6 had, much less the US model. That's cool that you've driven a 745. I've only ever seen one, and that was at a gas station in Boston that was run by some folks that brought the car with them from the Middle East.
Nonetheless, I love my altbeast!
