The speakers in the corners of the front doors are sound system tweeters.
The speakers in the other mesh grill inserts on the front doors facing each occupant are for the phone.
The speakers in the upper front part of the rear doors are sound system tweeters.
You get drivers in each of the 2 front doors. You get 2 tweeters in front. You get 2 tweeters in the rear doors. You also get midrange speakers on the rear deck (not sure if they are one way or two way?) and of course, if your beast is a 2000 model, you get the POS (Piece O Crap) sub enclosure which contains 2 or more drivers. I have of course upgraded my car with some great subs to replace this anemic setup from the factory!
