Ok, now that I have the car for almost a week, and had the time to RTFM (read the fine manuals), I have discovered a number of problems with my sound system.

1) every so often, the CD will not play. The display shows the CD & track number, but no sound is coming out. and then, after 2-10 minutes, it suddenly starts. I know that the CD was "playing" because when the sound starts, the music has advanced while it was "muted".. to cure this, I have to turn the ignition on/off a number of times, and then it works for a while..

2) Intermittently, the M-bass woofers will not sound. Again, this happens when the car starts. The cure: turn the ignition on/off a number of times, and the bass comes back.

Anyone with similar experience?

another annoying thing, the dealer didn't program the Key/Memory options I have asked.. Now in order to close all windows with the key, I need to actually put teh key in teh door and twist for 3 sec., instead of being able to use the remote.. Oh well.. I am bringing the car in on Jan 25..
