My vote is for the H&R's. Leaves no gap from rubber to fender, hasn't sagged yet, and the ride is only comprimised on the worst of roads. Also, they have a good reputation. Eibach's, I hear, have nearly the same drop with a little more comfort. They'll run you about 450-600 installed, depending on where you go. A good shp can do the job in 2 hours or less.
*Just saw that you have an M6. I hear H&Rs are pretty rough for the 6.... consider the Eibachs.
