We should be prepared for some disappointment as the results will likely favor the CTS-V in most categories. From a dig, no doubt will the V be faster; it would be interesting to see a race from a roll, however. At least I like the looks of the M5 better, can't beat the V-10 sound, and I believe our delimited top speed will still be higher. Hats off to GM in producing a sedan that can compete performance-wise with the Germans. It would be interesting to see if there is a spike in performance mods to M5's in the months following the release of this article. Our sponsors should be poised for new orders and thank Road and Track.
