I also think that the 993TT is a better-looking car than the 996TT. But then, I think the '94 ('93 for European folks) Turbo 3.6 (964) is better-looking than the 993TT. Remember that goofy Miami cops movie called "Bad Boys" with Will Smith and Martin what's-his-name? That was a black '94 Turbo 3.6 that Will Smith drove. Outrageously nice-looking car, to me at least.

Those can be had for somewhere in the neighborhood of $50k for a well-kept example.

Maybe my opinion will change with time as to which look better. The engineer in me demands a warranty for these high-tech, expensive-to-fix monsters, so a new one is the most sensible option.
