It is where the wind comes over the mirror and back in between the "glass part of the mirror" and the "mirror frame". I thought about electircal tape....but it is a $100k can and can't have that... I too would like to know how to fix this...
Maybe Hartge fabs a mirror splitter/lip to cotrol aerodynamics I'd improvise something, can't stand stray noise like that.

The seven series mirrors have serated top surfaces for just this reason, acts like a diffuser as the air passes accross and leaves the top surface of the mirror housing.
