We did five laps of the Nordschleife in '98 when we did Euro Delivery on our 540i.

It's not a track you can go fast on right away. It's 13 miles, something like 150 total turns/kinks/humps, not much runoff area.

This is the official site (the English non-Flash version - I hate Flash, but note that the English part is incomplete and you'll periodically get put back into the German site)

An entertaining 'Ring site with a lot of photos.

The nice interactive track map that used to be at cbsgi1.bu.edu seems to be gone but I crawled the files so may try to put it back up somewhere if I can do so w/o bending anyone's copyright nose.
